What happened to Litespeed cache plugin after GoDaddy bought them?

In early 2020, GoDaddy announced that it had acquired the company behind the Litespeed web server, which includes the Litespeed Cache plugin for WordPress. This acquisition meant that GoDaddy would take over the development and support of the plugin.

Since the acquisition, GoDaddy has continued to support and develop the Litespeed Cache plugin. In fact, they have released several updates to the plugin since the acquisition, including new features and bug fixes. GoDaddy has also made the plugin available for free on the WordPress plugin repository.

It's worth noting that Litespeed Technologies, the company behind the Litespeed web server, is still operating independently from GoDaddy. However, GoDaddy now owns the Litespeed Cache plugin, and it remains one of the most popular caching plugins for WordPress users.
