Several light sources can be used to enhance and improve the visual aspect and visual stimuli of a student’s studies, but these are typically lamps or candles. They are also, in some cases, available at different times of the day. However, it is important to understand that although candles and lamps have similar effects on people, people are drawn to each other because they see themselves reflected within (often negative) glasses, so you need only consider one. In this article, I will explain how some of our light sources can affect our vision. First, two main factors tend to enhance our vision. One is contrast or color, and the second is contrast with shadows.

Contrast

Contrast is one of the most important visual inputs we get when looking out a window at night. It causes us to make more detailed mental images and creates new concepts we are unable to grasp easily. To achieve a better-looking image, look at things from a higher level or try to focus on things closer to it, creating something different that will stand out, like an object which looks brighter than you might expect at first sight. Contrasts are created in different ways such as by applying contrast on walls or furniture, using contrast on clothes, or even just mixing up a picture or color on the page, as well as making use of a photograph itself. You don’t necessarily need this if your room is dark, but if you have a bright room, then using contrasts can help to create better visuals! By combining different contrasting colors you may come up with much better images.

In most offices, shadow contrast is produced from the ceiling, but in colleges, you can make use of wall-mounted lamps for a better and clearer effect. When these lamps aren’t getting enough sunlight though, you might want to invest in a pair of ‘smart bulbs’ where you can create a direct spotlight to illuminate the whole room. Alternatively, if your windows are too small, think about placing lamps in front of them to give the illusion that you are watching something. If you are a bit of a creative type, try having these lamps turn on their heads to give the illusion of floating and being looked at from above, or moving around in the ceiling, so that you cannot see the shadows. You don’t have to buy fancy equipment to get great results from these techniques though, since it can be done by simply switching up your lighting!
